here's the breakdown.
the tahitian green is a 91 si. I bought it with a blown engine, and top end dissassembled. I just put a new head gasket on it and drove it around the block tonight. it just needs to last until I can afford an engine swap. it's in really good shape, only a quarter sized rust spot on one rear quarter. thats a whale tail spoiler, I don't remember who made it or if its even being made anymore.

the red 91 dx automatic, is wrecked in the front. hood is folded up, but the fenders were untouched. the bumper support is a little bent, but I slapped a spare radiator in it, flattened out the hood, and drove it home. has only a dime sized rust spot on one rear quarter.

the white one is a canadian 89 si, and although it has never been in an accident, it has the worst rust damage I have ever seen. it is toast. I drove it home also. except for the hatch, rust has ruined every other body panel. some of the windows are busted out, some of the interior panels are missing, but it has near perfect seats and dual exhaust, I can use those!

I'll post pics in the gallery as I start working on them. the green one is going to stay pretty much stock, ac, stereo, commuter car. the red one is going to go through some changes. there really won't be much left over from the white car. I am going to stockpile the parts in case I ever need them. these should keep me busy for a while.

I got the white crx off of craigslist and the red one off of ebay. the guy who owned the red crx told me it had to be towed, and that is what he was telling everyone who came to look at it. I brought a spare radiator with me. I started to pry the original radiatior off of the exhaust manifold when I noticed that there were oil lines running from the trans through the bottom of the radiator. I did not want to break those loose and spill oil all over their parking lot and cause me to not be able to drive it. I didn't want to tow it because that would have hurt the value of the deal. Then I got an idea.

yes, I know that was ghetto, but hey, it got me home and it didn't run hot. the owner came out and saw the car running. he said, "NO WAY!" for a second there, I think he must have had second thoughts about selling it.

Damn, I had a hard enough time trying to explain my obsession with only having one, I can't imagine what it must be like having 3 or 4. Your neighbors must think you are nuts!
