I am just pathetic when it comes to keeping myself from losing my car keys. I lost my last set today. And now I have nothing.. no keys, no fobs, zilch. What is the fastest and cheapest way to get myself driving again?

 

a locksmith would probably help

 

Call in your VIN to your nearest Honda Dealer. Show up with ID and Registration, key shouldn't set you back any more than $20 I would imagine.

yeh.. call the dealer and tell em about ur situation.. most likely.. they might tell u to tow the car to them so they can program your new key and keyless entry stuff. but most likely.. it'll run more than just $20.

there's a free tow too with the Acura Care... if i remember right.

 

new key + fob will easily be over 100 at acura

 

yeah just the key is gonna cost you 60 dollers and the rmote is gonna set you back some more. just go to the dealer with your registration and id and all that stuff and they will make you a new key you dont need the old one

 

you are going to have to get your car towed to acura. Get a new key made and get it reprogrammed. and the dealer will charge you out the ***...it cost 135.00 to get my wife new keys for her TL when she lost her keys.
and since rsx has an immobilizer its gonna cost you that much also. Might want to PM Len who works at acura and you can get a key from him cheap and just have to pay for the reprogram and the tow to the dealer.

this is what i've thought up so far.

-get a black key cut at dealership
-open door (alarm will sound)
-pop hood, remove horn fuse
-use brake code
-drive car

am i missing anything?
