Calm down man, its an easy repair, the 1/4 panel isnt that badly creased so much of it will push out, it'll still need fillers and paint though. Take it to a few body shops and get some quotes on how much it'll cost.
Yeah your deductable is huge...hope you didnt get one of those cheap *** policies with a huge deductable/excess. theres a company in my country who charge a flat rate fee of $800 p.a so long as the car is valued at under $100k, less than 3.0L and your over 27, but the excess/deductable is $6000....and sooooo many people go with them, so as they can insure skylines and supras etc etc

Most companies will give you a bunch of choices of deductibles. There's nothing necessarily wrong with a big deductible. You can save a lot of money on premiums by getting a high deductible, but it means you will need to pay for the full cost of minor repairs like this, and as high as that amount for bigger repairs. Getting a big deductible may make sense, but only if you can afford to pay it in the event of a claim.
The time to decide on how big a deductible you can afford is when you buy your policy, not when you have an accident...

I agree. The 1/4 panel doesnt look too badly creased. A good body shop should be able to pull/push it out. I think the hardest part of that repair will be getting the body lines to match back up, but will be no problem for a good body shop.

best thing to do would be to cut out the quarter panel and weld a new one in. then smooth it out, prep and paint.
Should be ~$2000-$2500.
Look on the bright side: it isn't structural damage.

Dude... that's nothing! My car is way worse than that! My driver side door isn't even the same color. My car is ten different shades of CW. There is a huge gash in the front bumber, a shitty 'mugen' lip that doesn't fit right and gashes in the rear bumper. Oh... let's not forget the dents in the driver side rear quarter panel.
Go to Geico. Seriously. Remember it's just a stupid car. Life will go on.

Maybe the US has different types to the one i was talking about, the policy i was referring to is a con, as i said you pay a flat rate no matter how many convictions or penalty points on your licence, no matter where you live or how the car is stored/alarmed etc, you only get third party cover so you fork out for all your own repairs etc etc and you dont earn any No Claims Bonus on it. Drivers here get it purely because no one else will ensure them on big power cars like GTRs or TT supras, GTO's etc etc and they get it purely so as they have cover to drive, 99% never think of the consequences in the event of an accident, or that in a few years if they move to another company with a more regular car they dont get a NCB to carry over to the next policy, so effectively theyre treated as first time insuree's as there will be no history of them having had a poilicy before.

Yes, that's different from here.
Obviously, I thought you were referring to high deductibles and low premiums as some kind of "con". They're not. (But they may or may not make sense, depending on what the individual can afford, for premiums as well as when paying deductibles on claims.)

They have a special electronic magnet tools... they pull it out and will just paint basically... guarenteed me that it won't be noticeable AT ALL, or he will give me my money back.. claims thats its nothing serious.
Yeehaw.
