expletive Theives
Ok...
I just started to join this site and I have noticed that alot of you have been getting your car taken away from you. That is just messed up. There is no other feeling then waking up in the morning heading out and find that your car is gone. Man do these people realize the amount of time, work and money we put in to our cars? Well i feel you guys, I had my first hatch stolen within a month of having it, but i was lucky i got it back it was drivable and working so i fixed what was wrong with it and sold it to buy my 91 si that i have now.
Ok so to the point.
I have a few things that i have done to my hatch that will help the rest of you from getting your **** taken. First thing...
I have a detachable steering wheel. This is a great thing to have expletive a club just take the wheel with you, I honestly take my wheel everywere i go, it might be silly but expletive it.
kill switch alarm system, detects any movment in the car or outside. This came with my car which was great, works really good.
hidden kill switch. I installed one to cut off my fuel pump, works great, just another step that can mess with a theif.
pull the fuse to the ecu, yet another thing to help. I only do this if im in a shady neiborhood, or in the city.
and wheel locks, sometimes they will just try and take your wheels but dont really want the car, save your self and get some $20.00 wheel locks for your car, it is just another detourent.
If anyone needs help with installing a hidden kill switch let me know, i could do a write up on this. If anyone else has anything else to add please post we need to put a stop to ******* taking our pride and joy.
peace-
