threw code P1259 Vtec system malfunction
i threw the code P1259
VTEC System Malfunction. vtec wasnt working, i went to good ole auto zone and cleared the code and vtec works now no check engine, what could make this occur, what should i do?

id take the vtec soliniod off and double check the screen inside is not clogged...i believe that cell is tripped when there is a problem with the vtec pressue switch and if that screen inside the soliniod is clogged that would mess up the pressure switch

i dont know, i went to auto zone and had them clear it yesterday and it hasnt come on since we will see.
