my b16 iis smokin like a bitch anyone know why

 

need some more info then that! When does it smoke and what color is it?

 

its black smoke when i bang the gears and when i just let it sit and idle and i dunno what it can be u think maybe piston rings? someone on here was tellin me that it could be gettin to much fuel help me out man

 

black smoke is fuel
what pump and what injectors are you running???

also whats your fuel psi at?

bad rings would be blue smoke

 

My siR is the same. Under load in VTEC black smoke comes out the exhaust and is making my nice Supersprint exhaust all dirty! lol My car is also only getting like 200miles if im lucky to a tank when being driven sensibly!

Ive used injector cleaner, but still it smokes! Would this be over fuelling too?
