i drive a 99 civic ex (d16y8 ej8 ) and when i went to put my cai on, noticed there were 3 plugs/things comin out of the stock intake. which plug is the iats? i know its not the one that connects from the valve cover to the cai nipple so theres 2 left. is it the one that has wires comin out of it or the one that looks like a tube that connects to another lower one in the engine which has 1 end go somewhere and the other onto the head just above the pcv valve

just confused on this one. if someone could provide a diagram that'd help even more.

 

iat intake air temp right? its the one with wires. Just take the sensor out of the stock intake and put it on your cai.

 

oh. oops. i plugged the air injection tube into the new cai hole. but for some reason, no CEL light? and the car runs perfectly fine. is not having the IATS in the cai bad for my car?

If u dont get a cel, then it wont hurt your car, Have u warmed up the car it might come on then.
