Is it possible to get over 300HP on a b16a1 without any turbo or supercharger and keep it street legal?

 

IMO, that is gonna be really hard to do. Do you want crank hp or wheel hp? Making up 150 hp without those significant power adders and still being street legal is gonna be hard.

 

Crank is the HP before it hits the wheels right? If so thats the one I'm talking about. Was wondering if it would be possible street legal, but if nots street legal it could be done right? And if so which parts would not be street legal?

 

The crank hp is at the motor, wheel hp is actual hp you are putting to the ground and what is measured on a dyno.

I doubt motor wise anything will be un street legal, but to reach 300 without a turbo or supercharger is gonna be impressive. I take it that includes no nitrous either?

Nah no nitrous. I wanna see if its possible to achieve without turbo. So with turbo it would be possible to reach like 400 maybe?(crank HP) Thanks for some response.

 

why dont you just start peicing it all together?? what when someone says...
"OH!! this is how you do it.." your just gonna run out and do it in the yard? its soo hypothetical why would you even ask. try searching for dumb questions chances are they have already been asked.... save like 15,000 and get all your internals upgraded, as you go along search!!.... i woud ask maybe "whats the max you can bore a b16a block, but that is dumb cuz if you dont understand it why are you asking????? nevermind..
