Default DOHC VTEC Distributor Question

I searched but I came up with 600+ results and got tired of sorting through them. Are all DOHC VTEC distributors the same? If not, what are the differences and which ones are interchangeable?

Thanks,
Frankie

That's a broad statement... some come with internal coils, some with external, i believe some of that has to do with the motor being japanese or american.

As long as the OBD is the same they are interchangeable, right?
