Default Del Sol Tranny Problem?

ok i just got a 95 del sol SI manual and sometimes when i put it into reverse it makes the bad crunching sound but not all the time....and sometimes it feels like the clutch loses pressure when i put it in...should i think about getting a new cluctch or should i adjust the cables? thanks

check your master/slave cylinders for the pressure issue? i had the same problem and realized i had to get my cylinders changed. del sol parts are a biatch to buy. hahahah good luck~

only the cosmetic and exterior stuff is expensive motors and trannies and mechanical stuff is the same for civics and del sols years 92-95

oh to eliminate the crunching sound first press the clutch in move put your shifter into first then second i na smooth motion and then into reverse u will notice it will slide in perfectly

the reason for this is to align the shifter forks so it slides into reverse easy.
