Default 96 civic, coil overs vs. drop springs

i'm droping my car and was wandering the best way to do it . i want to keep a good ride but still have an agresve stance. i have kyb gas struts, drop zone camber kit and all for strut bars and all the energy suspention bushings to go with. the question is what would work better, skunk2 drop spring or there coil covers.

advantage of coils = you can change your ride height

skunk2 is ****. I have them and it's way too bouncy and my car's not even that low.

Go to the Suspension part of gthe Sponsor Classifieds and look for Ground Control Coilovers. They have good prices.

Yeah, but I've heard a lot of stories about them breaking or something. Plus they're like 750, not 250

I got tein S techs on my 97 sedan. Ride is pretty damn good for a lowered car, the only thing about them is that those springs drop the front more then the back.

I have Ground Control's and I absolutely love them. Good n' stiff, but still comfortable enough for a DD. PLUS, GC's are matched to your shocks for the right combination. best sleeve over on the market if that is what you decide on!

The base Ground control spring rates I believe are around 320F/250R. That is a great combination of sportiness and streetability. GC gets a big
