Default Question about 555's, going to E-Town on Sunday.

I only have a 14 second car right now so traction is not a huge issue. I am documenting on video the evolution of my car from daily driver to drag strip terror(well, to drag strip car anyway.) I know that the general rule of thumb is not to heat up street tires, but I want to have plently of burn outs on the video. My question is , is it detrimental to heat up 555's at the track?? Any possible advantage. I dont think there is but and info would be great. Thanks..

i went through 3 sets of the 555's they wear really fast...they are pretty good but cant compare to the old BFGs...

do a burn out and then when you are going towards the staging light, do another quick bunny hop to get most of the dirt you trailed up.they should be pretty sticky then.

from expereience, do not light up the 555s too much or it will work against you. i know everyone likes to smoke them up but it will hurt more than help.
