My dizzy died
My car won't accelerate if it starts and is throwing a code 4. I have a b20 swap in my 98 civic ex. I'm using the stock harness with an obd1 ecu and an obd1 distributor. I had to rewire the distributor, and since thats not my strong suit, I think it died on me somewhere down there. What I need is a pre-wired obd1 distributor for an obd2 harness that won't take a crap on me and leave my car stranded in some parking lot like it is now. Sorry for the lack of detail but I'm extremely pissed off right now. What are my options for this kind of situation? Will an obd2 distributor that will plug straight into my harness work with the obd1 ecu? or do I have to use an obd1 dizzy thats been rewired to work with the harness? If so, can I buy one of these from somewhere so I don't have to do the wiring myself?

is the plug on your dizzy now a obd-1 or obd-2. if it is obd-2, then just buy another 1 and put it on. and vise-versa. obd-2 is 1 big plug and obd-1 has 2 plugs on the dizzy. hope that helps
my dizzy is an obd1 dizzy but has been wired to work with the obd2 plug (the one big plug)
my question was will just a straight up obd2 dizzy that will fit on my obd2 harness work with my obd1 ecu

Also, does anyone know where I can buy just the plugs for obd1 and obd2 distributors with the pins, both the male and female sides? I've been looking all over and can't seem to locate them.
