weird shifter problem?!!

hey guys, i just bought a 1993 civic hatchback with a b16 swap in it.
the shifter is really weird, wen it is in any gear i can move it right to left just like it is in neutral

any of u have any idea wut the problem could be?

probally need to replace the shifter bushings.

my friend looked at that and he said that they still looked good... but idk maybe i shud just buy sum new bushings and see if it will fix it

you need to swap them out. you can get an ES bushing kit online for 19 bucks

you should look at the bitch pin as well, sometimes people just put a bolt back in, that puts slack in the shifter as well. i know because mine is that way.
