Default My shifter has alot of play- already put in ES bushings, new bitch pin... HELP

Hey guys- my 94 honda civic SI's shifter is a little sloppy for my liking. When its in a gear there is a bit of play. At first i thought it was the bitch pin from the swap- I put a new one in, and that did not help it. So next i purchased a bushing set- did nothign as well. What i think the problem is is the rubber bushing that goes around the ball of the shifter-

Im thinking about ordering 8 and 11- I know when you purchase a fastline shifter it comes with one of the parts - anyone know which one it is?

EDIT- its this bushing---

That shifter looks like it comes with #8. And your problem is also most likely caused by that bushing. I had the same problem in my crx a while back, the linkage was very sloppy feeling. I had hasport linkage and ES bushings, I changed my shifter out than with a short shifter, and while doing so changed those two bushings on the ball of the shifter and it was much better after that.

could be number eight or even 5. You need to drop the linkage down and take a close look at the parts. Also make sure the bolt that connects the shifter rod and lever (no. 25 in the diagram) is the correct bolt because if it's too small it can cause slop.
