I was just about to cut the plug off my ZC distributer when I noticed that the colors were different on both the original HF plug and the zc plug according to this picture I made a similar one with my wiring colors on it. Please let me know what you think I should do.

 

do any of the colors match from clip to the dist? If not tell me what colors you have to deal with here

 

seems to me that you have already fig. it out and u dont know it yet all the colors are there.....

 

None of my zc distibuter plug wires match the image from zcr.

 

wow i used that same pin-out for my wiring it they matched to perfect?u sure u got zc dizzy?post a pic of it and the plugs.
DONT CUT IT!!CAREFULLY TAKE THE WIRES OUT OF THE CLIP!

 

They are probably sooo faded that it looks white or pink but it is orange. A manual from the parts you have will always help.

You can depin the connectors, just don't pull them out at the same time(i.e. only depin crankshaft position sensor wires, theres three snesors and the output from the ignitor on 88-91 MPFI EFs and many others. You can always open the distributor and look at where the wires go, explained in the Honda Serive Manual.

Thanks guys. I just matched number positions to number positions and it worked. But the colors in no way match. Weird huh.
