Don't rush this, you have quite a bit of homework do to.

For starters: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1214810

As for the price, $1500 isn't a bad deal but you need to inspect the blower first. You need to check the blades for wear, play in the shaft and check the housing to see if it is leaking oil anywhere.

Good luck!

You should also hit up Mythias, he's got a lot of experience with JRSC set-ups.

Over the past few years, I have seen 3 JRSC B-Series Honda blowers go bad within 20,000 miles of use. The nose bearing goes out. JRSC warrantied them however, the warranty would not work for you since you are not the original owner. I would save a little bit more and get the kit new if you really want to go with a JRSC on your ITR. That way you would have the warranty. Also you dont want to use that FMU that comes with the Jackson kit. You should invest in a programmable EMS and some RC injectors. Good Luck

You can make that 4.... will verify that shortly. Second owner with right at 20K.

JRSC warrranty = teh sucks (when you are the second owner)

Also the tensioner pulleys WILL go bad within 20K and you'll want to get some new ones right away. (don't reuse them)
