speedomter cable

Default speedomter cable

swaped motor in 88 crx and broke the speeedometer cable from the tranny like a dumbass wouldn't paying attention to it but anyways i am pretty sure somebody has had to change one, how hard is it and how much would a new cable cost me? any info would be great.

pretty easy to replace. i replaced mines not too long ago and im a total noob. i just went to junk yard and looked for a speedo cable and stuck it in my pocket and left.

i had to replace the my whole speedo cable. not just the wire in the inside. (cause a piece of wire broke in mines)

yeah it is easy i did mine in the dark, just pull off the cluser cover disconnect the speedometer from the cluster make sure you know the hole that is goes threw in the fire wall and your money make sure you clip it in place to avoid further problems.
