Default o2 simulator installation

i recently purchased a casper o2 simulator and had a few questions regarding installation. first of all, i looked over the directions, and apparently the colors of the wiring isnt correct. i was wondering if anybody knew which colors matched up to eachother, and if installation is easier from inside the car or underneath. if anybody has any info that would be appreciated. thanks so much.

fyi..the secondary o2 sensor has 4 wires, 2 black, 1 green, 1 white
and the simulator 3 wires a purple, black, and red

$45 for a o2 simulator you still need to splice in? For that amount of cash I would have figured its PNP

You are probably still going to get a CEL because it will fail the readiness check.

Not so.

I've sold several to help out my friends locally and here on h-t.....

Just ask JDM Factor, kengs, pyromaster, B18C5 EH, etc.

There are so many ways you can go about making a simulator however, the ease of just plug n play was great.

.....it changes the signal/ voltage that the ecu sees from the 2ndary o2 sensor.

oh, so you still have to have a secondary o2 sensor plugged in.

Correct me if i'm wrong, i just want to clarify how this works... so the o2 sensor wire plugs into the o2 simulator which is then plugged into the wiring harness to the ecu?

that is correct. it can either be in the cat or test pipe; or you can even pull it up into the cabin.

You guys don't need that crap.

I took a simple Spark Plug Non-Fouler and this made things work great! No codes at all in 2000+ miles!!

Here is the link:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...84181

Just drill it out to fit the O2 sensor and plug it in. You are good to go!
