Default crx road trip?

i've been planning a road trip after i get my 2nd car and it seems like i'll be getting a 2nd gen crx for my 2nd car (my 1st car's a 1st gen beater). i'm planning on going from LA to SF and i was wondering if a crx could handle it. also, would the interior be really noisy as in no sound-dampening? could running my car at 90+ mph for hours at a time kill my motor/car?

Only if you have a super short tranny and have a shoddily maintained car.

what the crud kinda questions are those? if you like the car and its well maintained then what does it matter? if you want a quiet road trip car then thats not the one, get a caddy....if you already have a rex, then you know what you are already in for. not hatin, just confused....

well i havnt test-driven any 2nd gens as of yet so i don't know much about ride comfortability. my 1st gen's horrible at high speeds and only maxes at 92mph. so....it's a no on a 350mi trip huh?

Well its a d15b2, and in really bad shape. it takes ages to ge to 90mph seriously. I pity my engine. Im just having trouble finding the po8 ecu for my swap, so i have to drive with the d15b2 which is okay.

well around LA freeways, it's okay, i only go at about 80mph with my HF. but if i decide to get a 90 DX/DF (which one is it?), then will a 350mi trip be tolerable for the car and i?

keeping your car around 90mph for a long period of time isn't good on any engine. go 90 for a while, then go 70. plus the lower speed saves gas.
