well i just got a cam gear for my d16z6 (yea i know sohc no need for one) but i do plan on turboing soon and i was wondering i god ever thing off and all that but when i go to loosed the tentioner for the timing belt the damn thing wont budge. is it a reverse thread or what is the deal here need a little help.

 

i had the same problem and used a breaker bar it worked for me

 

behold the power of the breaker bar. My 6 ft break bar is the best tool I ever bought!

Looks like a big ole breaker bar is your best choice.

 

ok then but i dont have a breaker bar with a 3/8ths chuck on the end of it only half inch. and when i use a reducer it makes it too big to fit in there i guess i need to get a 1/2in breaker bar.
