Does anyone have any boosted automatics????
I didnt have any problems after I turbo'd my car. I did have a Translab shift kit, but it is only good for 300-450hp. I was around 250-275 max 14psi.
If you boost an auto, yo uhave to drive gingerly in the first 2 gears, then after that, you can boost and get on it.
I loved OD boost on the freeway, it was cool. Going from 75 to 125 lickity split.

I often thought about boosting my 4door auto integra. I mean why not? If you think about it, they truely are quicker than boosted manuals. No time lag having to shift gears. Hell look at the automatic Supras. I've seen 1000+hp auto Supras flat out walk on some manuals. For hondas, you'd pretty much HAVE to upgrade the torque converter to handle it. But i've seen a couple companies that make high HP torque converters for hondas. I'm actually contemplating doing it!!!

I had one, boosted 00' Civic DX on the Greddy kit, turboed it at 38k, sold it around 45k, its still ridin around town now with over 125k on it, same tranny, no oil leaks...still slow. It wasn;t fast, just quick like a V6 Accord quick, good for passing & changing lanes, sucked for racing.
I think if you run a tranny cooler and service it frequently (change fluids often etc) and don't run too high of boost, it can be somewhat reliable, but it's still not going to be "fast", just alot faster than what it was
A kid I know has automatic supra, with stock turbo and minor mods and he runs 11.6 on slicks. He used to run 12.4 but after he added a torque converter his times droped dramacially. He was only making 460whp.
