Subs making something rattle - is that bad?
I have 2 decent 12's in my trunk and when my trunk is open, they sound fine, but when i close my trunk, and the subs are on i hear a rattling inder my trunk it sounds like a loose screw or something is vibrating too hard. Is that bad?
And how can i stop the rattling noise? It sounds like ****. I dont turn my subs up so the entire ******* neighborhood can hear them, like i said they are decent, i usually have the sub all the way down i dont like TOO much bass.

I know my car's license plate rattles like a champ when it gets vibrated at all, and I've noticed (and chuckled) at people's cars that drive by and have the same problem with their subs. I would check that out. I fixed mine by taking the plate off completely and then putting it back on tightening the screws as far as I could. Problem solved

I'd go search around Crutchfield. They have some decent information on there regarding your sound system. Dynamat is on there somewhere, just search around on there in the car audio section.
