Default Check This Out!!

Hey guys, after months of searching and trying, I have finally found a pair of HIDs that I'm satisfied with. I started looking at some different brands and actually tried them from some online retailers. First I purchased what was suppose to be Philips 4100lk HIDs, but when i got it, it turned out to the K2s. They were nice and bright, but I didnt really like them. After checking with couple other retailers, I've decided to screw all the little parts sites online and go buy the best from philips. So, I decided to get the 6000k "Ultinons" from philips directly. Tell me what you guys think? http://www.rivaled.net/hid.html

while it is truly an amazing hallusinating eye sparkle eminating from the depths of your accords headlights, dropping 600 bones on lightbulbs doesnt sit well with me.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would have felt the same way before I started looking into them. After superwhite bulbs that blow easy and only shows half the things the stock halogens did on the road, I figure it was time to move on. And even then, I thought it was rediculous to spend so much on lights. But it's one of those things you want and if you dont get them, it just builds up and one day you say **** it and get it.

I wouldn't mind HIDs, but I'd use 600 bucks towards an LSD.

You know, it's kinda funny that you mention that, and I'll agree with you that most superwhite bulbs don't illuminate jack. However, I still have one bulb from this generic company called WorldBrite or something, 80W, and illuminates twice as much as the stock 55W bulb. Too bad I can't find a replacement for it... oh well...

I love my HIDs... I will get them for every car I own from now on. They are worth every penny.

As are LSDs... I'd personally go for an LSD before HID anyday... I'm sure you can attest to this LoudAccord since you've installed yours... you like?

I dont find it "wasteful" for a pair of HID's. It is actually a saftey mod. The output compared to stock and "bulbs" is nuts. $600? I believe on group buy they can be bought for $400-$500. True, most of us would like to spend that maybe on performance, but there are not too many HID's out there, besides Mercedes and the likes.

BTW, it looks real nice on your ride.

i think all cars should come stock with HIDs for saftey purposes....actually i have a funny story about this....i got pulled over and got a ticket for my lights being too bright...it was 2am and i was arguing with the cop and i asked him if he pulls over bmw's, lexus's and other high end cars...but he failed to answer and just walked away...dirty bastard....

actually i kind of disagree. its true that MOST superwhite bulbs don't perform as well as the stock bulbs, BUT i have optiblue superwhite bulbs(which are PURE white) and tehy light up the road a LOT. and to test it, one night i drove my car with the stock h4 bulb in one side and teh superwhite h4 in the otehr and the other was MUCH brighter. i am very satisfied with these h4 lights.
