What shocks will you be using. I had them on my old coupe about 7 years ago and the ride was pretty stiff.

for $40 thats not a bad deal. those are pretty stiff so ive read, and will more than likely trash the stock shocks pretty quick, so you might consider upgrading shocks pretty soon. if by tokoco you mean the illumina's, those should be a good choice. the tokico Blues wont hold up that much better than stock against springs that stiff.

skunk2 coilovers are bouncing and don't offer a spring rate....I used them with tokico blues and are still bouncy. I didn't drop the car to low either, my car sits 1 1/2 inch. lower with 15 x 6.5 wheels with 195/40/15 tires.

For $40 I would pick them up. Get some KYB AGX to go with them.

Same setup I have...(skunk2/kyb agx)...they work fine.

With what shocks? The price difference between Ground Control and Skunk2 are minimal. As for me, I won my coilover sleeves thru a $15 raffle...

If he's getting these for $40...that's a steal for some decent coilovers.

i think reason why skunk2 is so bouncy is they are stiffer than GC standard rate.

also by using stock shock, its worse.
