Default Is there anyway to stablize the shifter?

just wondering if they sell bushings, my old integra had the es bushings and it was pretty firm,

on the street its not bad, but on the highway the shifter shakes a little, is there any way to stiff it up?

Yes, there is a way to eliminate that rattle. I think there is a write-up on s2ki. Try searching over there. I think it's a pretty simple procedure.

The s2000 doesn't really have a shift linkage like the DC. If the shifter shakes, it means there is vibration from the road going into the chassis and through the tranny. The transmission mounts (soft rubber) might be worn out. Same thing applies to the Engine mounts if you get more than usual engine vibration felt inside the car. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless the shaking is really bugging you and you want to replace the mounts.

Sometimes bushings wear out with time, not necessarily mileage. Salted roads and harsher weather plays a role too.
