95 or 97 front bumper ?

This is a 96 97 above.

And this one is for a 94 95.
Notice the difference of the bumper lenses sizes and the bumper opening in the middle. The 94/95 opens and brings the opening down all the way to its lip while the 96/97 is more like a whole in the middle of the front bumper.
Yes, it does have a lip, but it does not stick down the bumper.
It is common to see 96/97 bumpers with the OEM 94/95 bumper lip.
I think that the 94/95 bumper looks really nice with a greddy lip.

Below, is a 94 95 with a greddy lip.

Look at them and you will see that the greddy lip for 94 95 has a design that flows better with the bumper opening at 94 95 accord.
k yeah ur right the 95 does look better with that lip but i dont really like it because it has those holes its like another set of bumper lenses spots on the lip it looks wierd

This one below is a Seibon, some are carbon fiber and can cost up to 300 bucks, and some are plastic.
This one below is a "mugen" style, can cost 100 and looks pretty good too.

This is a "type R" style, that can also cost 100 bucks.

This white car (..nice one ah?!) is a 96/97 with a 94/95 OEM bumper lip.

The last one is a "wings west" lip

All of the photos above were taken from the accord/pics thread!!!!

The "mugen" and "type R" can be found at http://www.ebaymotors.com and aren't expensive.
The one that is like "L" is a Wings West one, and you can find that one as well at ebaymotors.

i have a 96 accord and this summer i plan on doing a 94-95 front bumper conversion, i like the way the 94-95 bumpers look, i already have the 94 grill so might as well complete the front end
i think the 96-97 bumper looks funny. i painted my stock lip and it still looks weird. i dunno could be just me.

quick question since we on the lip topic.. if i have a 95 with the oem lip and i want to put .. say a seibon or mugen lip on, does the oem lip need to be taken off? i believe yes but just need a confirmation

Don't know the exact lip in that picture but Wings West made a lip they called the Touring Style and it sorta looked like that. Here's a picture I found on a quick Google search.

Also, do what you think looks best. Don't let others opinions sway your decision of what going on your car.

try a google search for "Wing West Touring Style Lip". I forgot which site I clicked on but it was like $219.
edit:
Actually try searching for "Wing West Touring Lip for Accord" seemed to turn up better results.
Bodykits Northwest is where I found that picture though.

Yes, the OEM lip must come off, otherwise the new lip won't fit properfly.

This model is a little different from the models found in the US, so... don't even worry about that lip... you won't find it and it won't fit your car! That blue car is a accord type R (the real deal)....
