got a internally stock gsr and im wanting to buy some cams for it. i plan on probably putting itb's on soon so which cams are best?

depends on wat u do, if u want mad power, u need to upgrade ur valvetrain
buddyclub spec 3s are like stage 1 skunk2s
ctrs are like skunk2 stage 1s
CTR are better then ITR
toda spec Cs are like better then skunk2 stage 2s but cost alot they work really good

for a cheap price i say go with buddy club spec 4s they are still streetable and are as good as skunk2 stage 3s.

i plan on installing springs and retainers of course, but besides that its internally stock. its a 00 gsr in a 95 hatch with a 4-1 header and i guess ill be runnig twm itb's. thats about it oh and probably a direct port 80 shot.
from my seeing my friends h22 hatch with just the skunk 2's i really like them but then i read somewhere that xs power made like 8+hp on the dyno then the skunk 2's on a bseries (same car same dyno). and i dont know a thing about the buddy clubs or todas

 

it all just depends on how u do it, the high stage cams require some compression to be pushing that amount of power. stick with a stage 2 and lower for skunk2 becuz stage 3 and then pro series, u wont have enough compression, even with the stage 2, im not even sure if u have enough compression. buddy club spec 3s will be good for your setup if ur running stock bottom end

 

i guess its between the buddy club IV and the skunk2 stage 2's but i still havent found anything on the xs power cams. thanks
