Default Comptech Sway Bar/Tie Bar

Planning on getting the comptech kit for my eg. I going run the comptech tie/sway bar thats for 94-01 teg on a 92 civic. I saw someone say that for one of the hex bolts for it to bolt up to the subframe I am going to have to get another bolt for it to work. Is there anything I have to do to make it fit or is it just bolt on?

im not quite sure i understand what youre asking...
if you buy the comptech kit new, it *should* come with everything it needs to install properly as a bolt on item. my asr brace came with all the replacement bolts, spacers, everything.

since the comptech incorporates the lca bolt as an atachment/stiffening mechanism, the bolt will need to be longer by the depth of the plate. again i would expect this to be included in the kit when you buy it.

i think that should answer your question, if not lmk and ill see if i can help you more

I'm running the Comptech Sway/Tie bar combo on my car... i had to buy extra set of nuts and washers for the backing of the tie bar. You need this because EGs do not have the pre-welded nut behind the cross member, like DCs do. It's a bitch to put on.. haha You will need pull out the LCA bolt and pull the arm out, so you have room to work back there. Have a buddy help you. I'de suggest you use Lock Tite on the threads of the bolt so it will not come loose. It's not needed, but I would suggest it. Good luck

I did purcahsed it used.. So I'm not sure if it comes with those extra nuts and washers... I doubt it would come with the extra backing nuts and washers, since this system was made for a DC not an EG chassis.
