Default running no cat results in better mpg?

will running no cat converter and a test pipe instead aide in increasing overall mpg?

I doubt it. Probably just end up in you getting a nasty ticket and wrecking the air we breathe.

it will kill ur gas milage, that back pressure from the cat helps to save ur gas milage. less backpressure means less mpg but MORE POWER!

backpressure actually will kill power and economy.

running a test pipe and high flow cat showed a 1 hp diff on the dynoes I have done with a mostly stock h22.

Please don't drop your cat for gas mileage. Firstly, I doubt highly that it will help, secondly, don't be a ********, it's there for a reason, a good reason.
