Default Electrical problems?????

Whats up guys,

I had a little problem with my alternator the regulator seems to have got fried twice, I have checked my wiring and saw nothing wrong with it.
I have relocated my batery to the trunk and I noticed that the ground wire from the tranny case to the chassis point is getting hot and when I measure my battery voltage with a voltmeter at the battery cable it measures 14 volts but when I rev the motor a little it looks like the voltage keeps getting higher

is this normal?
Please let me know

what are you measuring voltage with?

get a dvom and measure with it....

if your wire is getting hot it sounds like you have an excesive resistance problem...

did you use the right gauge wire for the relocation..make sure its isnt too small....that will surely mess with your electrical system.....

make sure you have all grounds from factory properly connected...

I have measured the voltage at the battery in the trunk and at the connector of the battery cable in the engine bay and I get the same voltage reading.
My battery voltage is n the low side but when the car is started I am getting the 14.7 volts.
