Default obd 0 interchangeable distributors

I am getting ready to do a conversion from dpfi to mpfi. I need to know asap if you can use the d16a6 zc INTEGRA distibutor as well. I don't want to go out and buy an crx/civic si distributor if I don't have to. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

D16a6 is not an integra engine..Thats a 88-91 civic/crx si engine..Im assuming you mean the D16a1 integra engine (which is not a zc engine) ..

?????

it's an 87 integra with a dohc d16a engine. I'm trying to put it into my 88 civic dx d15b.

are you putting the Integra engine into your car? - not sure what you are saying you are trying to do - 86-87 Integra D16A1 distributors are vacuum advance for ignition timing and only work with the 86-87 Integra PG7 ECU - 88 DX chassis harness is not set-up to use that ECU

okay, what i'm trying to say is, i'm trying to convert my dx dual point fuel injection into multi point fuel injection. And in order to do that you have to use a crx/civic si/ex distributor. And I was thinking that since the crx/civic si/ex has the d16a6 and the integra has a d16a1, can I use the distibutor from the integra d16a1?Supposedly, they are both "zc" motors. That is my question.

Just so you know I used to have a 90-91 Integra LS dizzy on my stocker D16 in my 91 CRX Si back in the day, bolts right up and is plug and play

Hope that helps
