Default Magnaflow exhaust performance

Hey, I was wanting to know if anyone has any personal experience or could show me what a magnaflow exhaust does to 2002 v6 accord. I like how it looks VS. the Greddy evo2, becuase it looks more classy. I have heard though that it causes loss of low end torque.. Is this true? I am only putting exhaust and intake on my car and would like both those to give me only gains..

It all depends how big the pipe is. I know that for 4cy engines more than 2.5 inches will have loss of torque.

If you stick a Magnaflow on that 3 liter V6. you should GAIN torque.
You've got so much displacement, you don't need to worry about losing any torque

^^^Not true for the J30 engines. You'll lose a little low end torque, but you'll gain enough on the mid to top end to make up for it. I doubt you'll really notice the loss of low end torque..

I've heard it. My friend has one on his 6th gen. It's fairly quiet, and not at all overbearing. Loud enough to be heard easily. There was a little droning at highway speeds, but simply turning on the radio took care of that.

Personally, I like it. But it's hard to convey what something sounds like w/o actually hearing it for yourself.

I would say that volume wise, it's in between the Apexi WS2 and the Greddy EVO2.

I searched on streetfire, found these:

The audio on this clip is so distorted, it sounds quite different than it does in person. I only included it to let you know it doesn't sound like this, just in case you found it on your own. http://videos.streetfire.net/s...7.htm

This is on an Acura CL Type S and is only an axle-back, but it sounds exactly the same as the cat-back did on my friend's Accord.
