well i have a d15b2 and i have a sorta big race on saturday night so i was wondering wat can i do without spending n e money are not alot of money to get atleast like 3-7 horspower more lol cause like i just need my car to go that much faster and plus if i win i wanna win big time not just by a half a car so if u guys have n e suggeston it would be highly appriciated

 

borrow someone elses car , run with no air filter or switch to a lighter weight oil, or remove all accessory belts or remove your cat,

im racing a stock 1999 hatchback and it has a complete exhaust system i think stock ones only have 106 and my motor stock has 92 and min i way lighter so i was just think 3-7 will do the trick...i think i will beat him already but i want it to be for sure u no so i can have bragging rights lol

yea it might be 60whp now but in like 2 weeks its gonna have a b16 in it so im just trying to have as much fun doing stupid **** in it as i can b4 i get a real motor jackass

yea it is a real motor compared to the puny d15b2

 

I assume you still got DPFI? if so, take off that first little valve thats held on with two phillips head screws, when your looking in the throttle body it's the one right there that you can see, this should make a pretty noticeable difference. That and take off your a/c and p/s belts if you still have them.

No but it should be pretty obvious when you see it, take off the plack cover with four screws on it (the one that says pgmfi on it) then take off that little screen over the throttle body, should be two 10mm nuts, then that plate I described is right there, just two phillips head screws. You can also remove that little angled metal piece near where the air tube comes in, but since saving the engine probably isn't too important at this point, you could even just take off the air tube all together, maybe even the entire canister thing on top of the throttle body (this may mess up some thinge because I know there are vaccuum lines coming out of it) Good luck, have fun.
