GROUND CONTROL
My 94 CX rode fine on GCs (400f/250r) stock shocks for 5 years. I swaped them out for Koni's recently and they were still in good condition. In fact my stock shocks were still considerably stiffer than the Koni Sports on their softest setting...
If you do plan on buying Koni's eventually, I suggest you just wait and buy the GC's at the same time. It will save you some money because the koni's require specialy designed sleeves that will NOT work on OEM or other aftermarket shocks...
When I switched to Koni shocks, I had to buy the special GC sleeves & gold adjuster nuts, and those alone were over $100. Save up and do it all at once...

Dood, for the money, just go koni/GC. There are too many people on here who swear by them. Would they lie for the hell of it?

I agree the yellows are the ****... coming in second...the illuminas.I couldnt get the konis in a timely manner, so i went with the tokico...im verry happy they are 5way adjustable too...In addition you do not need the additional adapters for the konis.

i think tokico illuminas are a better value. For about $350 shipped, lifetime warranty, cant beat it.
GC with konis require special GC sleeves only usable with Konis. make sure you specify.
