Compromise tire for 15s?
Hi,
I am looking for tires for 15" fat fives on my CRX. I commute on a pretty crappy road every day, so cannot have too hard of sidewalls. It barely ever rains here, so dry performance is most important. Any ideas? Under $80 each?

For under 80 bucks a tire, u have a lotta options. Im running falken ziex's 195/50-15 on 15x7 rims. They were onlly bout 55 bucks each, which is a pretty common price. They are all weather tires though, so they have pretty good wet traction and decent dry traction. I'd probably recomend bf goodrich g-force sports. Theyre only about 65 bucks a tire, and they have really good dry traction, and pretty decent wet. The ziex sidewalls are softer than the gforces, but i would get the gforces any day. And the gforces are progressive when they apporach the limit, and i like them a lot better than the yokohama es100's. kumho ecsta mx's are pretty good i hear also. I wouldnt reccomend the falken azenis cus they'll wear out pretty fast, and it seems u juss wanna do sum dd.
