Maybe headgasket is going and the engine is burning out the coolant..are there any white puffs out the exhaust?

You're saying that your headgasket it leaking? If so,thats why it's overheating and loosing coolant..

Yeah, because the coolant mixes with the oil..Check your oil and coolant to see if it looks like chocolate milk..

Why the hell don't u have a thermostat? That is probably one of the main reasons along with you needing a new headgasket, deck on both block and head and possibly a new water pump would fix this. Hopefully ur head isn't cracked or warped.

was the radiator you got in good shape? it may need to be flushed out, might have some build up

also you can still have a blown HG and clean oil, if the smoke is white-ish blue, i'd say your burning both coolant and oil but thats just my .02

you have a blown head gasket, you can try the cap but every time i've seen boiling coolant its been a blown head gasket

Why would you even drive around with a blown HG and risk ruining the car even MORE. Like come on, save up for $150 and get a decent one. Don't be cheap.

a oem headgasket does not cost $150, its $40 for the gasket

or you can buy the gasket kit which comes with every gasket needed for the head for right at about $100

dont bother buying something else, just about everyone will agree oem honda gaskets are best, and if you dont have many mods there isnt any point in spending the extra cash for a diffrent one

hey man i would say that it sounds like to me that you do have a blown head gasket. i would go ahead and replace it and hope you did not do any damage to the head. but if it is your only way around i would by some liquid glass and put it into the radiator to seal the weak head gasket for now until you can get them parts. i dont know how long that **** will hold up dough but it is worth a try

untill it clogs your coolant passages and blows your motor

never put crap like that in your car, a HG is $40 and the studs are like $2 a piece i think, i dont remember the price for those.. driveing with it like that for a little while wont kill it do anymore damage then is already done unless you drive with the needle pegged, i drove with a bad HG for almost a year, sold it to my buddy, and he drove it for a year and a half before it blew, it just ot a little hot after getting off the freeway or while idleing sometimes

you'll wanna get your head and block checked anyway since its been overheating to check that both are straight and not warped
