Civic won't start after driving hard
My 94 Civic Ex sometimes won't start. Mostly I've noticed it after I drive it harder, like around town. Normally I drive it on the highway so there is no stop and go driving. But when it won't start, all I have to do is push start it. It will still crank over fine, getting fuel injector pulse, spark plugs are firing, just look weak.
Are there any common problems with these cars? I've already replace the distributor and that didn't make a difference. Anything else?

Did you replace the whole dizzy? Sounds like a coil. This happens a lot in EF civics. Also, check your main relay. I used to have an EF and that thing warmed up and made my car not start.
I'll check the relay, anyone else have a problem like that?
And it's not the battery, it turns over fine, everything works (except whatever is keeping it from running)

Nothing is wrong with the charging system or battery. I can also let the car set for a while and it will eventually start up, I normally push start it to force it to start tho, cause I don't have time to wait on it to decide to start.

Main Relays are a really common problem area.. from my experience, people start seeing issues with them around 150k miles. Especially after driving it hard or when the weather is really hot.
If your not sure where its at, its by the driver side hood release.. just above it.
They are about $85 or so at the dealer, or you can find them online for about $70 new. Ive got a semi-new one out of a 00 Si, with 42k miles on it. Its on the marketplace here for $18 shipped or $13 picked up.

A local Honda mechanic showed me how to repair an ignition relay. You need to take off the cover and drip new solder on the connections that have become loose. You can look at them with a jewler's loop or magnifying glass to figure out which ones are bad, or just solder them all. If it is your relay this should do it...
