From: Destroying turbo ITR motors in Minneapolis, MN, U.S.A.
The manifold is getting ceramic coated tomorrow. The basic setup is:
-stock D16Y8, sans ARP headstuds & AEM cam gear
-Precision SC50, .48 a/r turbo
-ramhorn manifold
-Tial 35mm WG
-Stealthmode oil line kit w/firewall kit (next week)
-3" downpipe & cat (soon)
-RC 550cc injectors
-Auto Meter oil pressure & boost gauges
-Walbro 255lph intank fuel pump
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-GE vacuum manifold
-NRG catch can
-DRAG III FMIC
-ACT HDSS clutch
-Chipped P28 w/USB datalogging cable & Crome (is Pro worth it?)
Hoping for around 230-240whp on 10-11 psi. Around June, I'll be dropping in a built D16Y8 (Wiseco/Eagle/OEM bearings) and hoping for 330whp on pump gas.

I will be upgrading to a full 3" KTeller exhaust eventually, and I'll be ordering some 225/50/15 BFG's too...
Thoughts on how to get the most power out of this setup?

are you sure that the HDSS will hold your numbers ? I have the XTSS with 300whp and im affrais that she wont hold lol
when you mean ''sans'' ARP headstuds & AEM cam gear.... do you want to say without... because I wouldnt boost a Z6 without the ARP headstud with all the problem they have to hold boost.

Word, if you haven't installed it yet I would definately try to get ahold of the xtreeme PP instead of the HD.
I had the HDSS in my turbo d-series and it held well, but I was just around 200 hp. If you are going bigger boost in the future, you might as well go with the XT, then you won't have to upgrade later.

also, let me know if you want my magnaflow muffler... i forgot to bring it to work with me...
also i suggest you sell the HDSS and get a competition clutch stage 4 sprung kit...

It's not. Honestly, all I know is that it's a speed-factor.com manifold, and when my buddy ran it on his setup, it leaked everywhere. So they welded all of the leaks up, and that's why it looks the way it does. I will look into grinding down the welds a little more, I just don't want it to leak.

I still want the muffler, can you do $50 shipped like I mentioned earlier?
I already have the ACT HDSS in the car, for about 2 years now. It's holding fine, I just want to push it to its limits. When I get the built motor in, I'll upgrade to either your clutch or an ACT XTSS.

looks like a solid setup...function over fashion...i wouldn't grind down the welds awhile black on the fmic i polish my intercooler and the smoothen the weld out and it leakd on the back side ...cause me countless hours of diagnosis..motor mount inserts

After reading about all the ignition timing issues with D16Y8 heads, I might very well be switching to a D16Z6 head with the built motor. We'll see.

i cant decide between the 105100 or 105300
