cant seem to find the paint code for the engine bay on my 97 vsm ek!

i know its not vsm its like a white color!

can anyone shine some light?

 

You car wasn't origonally VSM if your engine bay is white. Honda doesn't go out of the way to paint their engine bays another color than the body. They put the entire body in a both and paint it.

homie trust me all the vsm joints come with a white like color for the engine bay!

the "white" you are referring to is VSM

you have no idea what you are talking about.

engine bay is white, maybe a flat base coat?

 

i think most cars are sprayed with a base/coat, clear/coat paint meaning its a 2 stage paint job...so since teh VSM color is kinda dull lookin in the bay, it just looks to me that they don't spray the bays with the clear coat to make it as shiny as the outside of the car..

Its VSM. Its just that its not painted as thoroughly and i dont think it has a clear coat so it looks to be a whitish color when its really VSM.

 

but theres like no silver in it at all?

its like a base flat white coat type deal, maybe ill have better luck in the appreance forum
