maintenance light
what year do you have. i know on the 4th gen there is not light. its just a color indication that needs to just be reset with like a key or pointed item. i think on my 5th gen it was different. i can't remember. maybe someone else can aide here.
put the key in the ignition. put your finger on the button that resets your mileage. then turn the key just to turn on the cars electricity. the maintenance light should blink about three times and then shut off. if it turns on again you should get it checked out. Use the search button too next time
I hate to be rude here but DAMN MAN there is a thread titled FAQ 6th gen 1998 - 2002. Did you even bother to read it?
If you did, you would have noticed the qyestion
"how do I reset the maint required light?
Flight50, the 5th gen are the same as the 4th gen it wasn't until the 6th gen did they change it. The 7th gen cars are the same as the 6th gen in this regard as well.
