im wondering does anyone know from experience or heard a 2005-06 rsx type s
hitting 14.8 stock?

or is it impossible

i have heard people sayin 15.1's but i've never heard of one in the 14's

 

I would think it's more than possible. I know the cars aren't the same, but for comparison sake, I ran a 14.8 with my stock (k&n filter) 1.8t GTI. Magazines put them in the low 15 second ranger stock.

 

I think its possible too, as I ran a 14.8@94 in my completely bone stock 4th gen lude

 

um....even the 02-04's ppl have hit 14.8's bone stock. so yes. a 05-06 would be completely capable of better than 14.8 bone stock.

 

Various people on ClubRSX have reached 14's in both the 02-04's and the 05-06's stock.

 

The best I have personally seen a 2005 run was a 14.6. Stock tires and everything.

 

honestly 14.6 sounds too fast for a stock rsx are u sure man

 

I didnt believe it either. Honestly the average is 14.8-14.9. But I guess it was a mix of a good driver and track conditions. After the event I saw him and took a look at his car. ALL STOCK. Unless there was something hiding like a 5.0 FD as his only mod
