Just stick with your b16 tranny. The b16 is very good tranny especially if you have a LSD. I would'nt go out and buy a type-r tranny, I would use your b16. The b16 is a quick accelerating tranny, the Y1 is one of the best trannies honda offered, just put the money from buying a new tranny into building up your b16.

 

i dont have a tranny at all yet thats why i was wondering b16 or ls and where can i get parts to build up a b16 tranny?

 

A b16 motor and T4 turbo? Yeah I would defintely stick with the B16. You would never be able to keep the rpms up enough with an LS tranny.

 

the b16 is stroked to a 1.9L so still use a b16 trans

 

yeah get a b16a trans and install a quaife lsd in it
