Baffling a catch can?
I'm doing a vertical, round one and I plan on having a flat vertical divider between the vacuum side and the crankcase side. I think i will have it go about 3/4 of the way down and use loose stainless wool on both sides.
I'm defiantly going to have a drain that is easy to use too, because if this thing fills up too far I think there could be some nasty issues depending on how good the vac source is.

From what I've read it is best to use something like a few feet of chain link instead of stainless wool. Problem is if a bit of the wool were to break off, it could be sucked back into the engine depending on how you plumb your catch can.
