yea just be sure you have the stage 8 VTECH and no air filter. Removing the muffler also adds 30 wheeel horsepower.

i drive one, haha its ok, a little heavy and big for a skinny guy like me, but its just fun to bash on dropped stocked engine civics...other then that i just use it to get to work and back and do the usual daily duties, talking about that i got a compliment from a stranger today about my car, too bad he called it a civic but it was still nice

The 90-93 model Accord are BADASS! I love mine. I'm less than 600 miles shy of the 250,000 mile mark on mine and runs like a champ! I gotta get a few things done to it but still runs great and with decent mileage. I averaged about 26 mpg on my last fillup (EX model automatic) speeding and somewhat hard acceleration at that, so I wonder if I could get another mpg or two by driving it gently. But anyway, yeah. I need to get my EGR runners unclogged, which is a common problem with this car, and I need to get my cam tower O rings replaced, which I dunno if that's common prolly just my car. I need to get a pwr steering pump leak fixed, and soon I have the belts/timing belt/water pump swap coming up soon. After that she should be cherry! Well, I have an oil leak too (prolly the rear main seal) but it's not a bad enough leak to even worry about ripping out the transmission right now. But besides that, she'll be cherry!

I have a '91 Accord EX coupe, automatic, and is an AWESOME daily driver. I don't plan on modifying it for speed since it's simply my DD and my DD only. I'm a domestic fanatic (ironically mentioned in this thread, a Mustang freak) but I check on here for stuff too since I own an Accord.

Find a good one that runs good and I'm sure you'll have some great luck with it!

Yeah man... I had a 91 accord SE... and that's how I fell in love with Accords... I think it has a lot of potential, like any other car, and you can always swap a more powerful engine and such... btw... I'm sorry that some people were talking crap to you... is just that, some people think they have the right to say anything they want just because they will never see that person face to face.

I bought a 91 EX w/5 spd and a 92 LX w/automatic from a local tow yard for $2K for the both of them. They both run well engine wise but I am having some difficulty with the 92's auto tranny....Both of the cars look nice also...

it has 160K on it...but I believe it has been replaced before as the transmission code indicates that it is from a 91 Accord wagon.
