not really familiar with the hub bore but 17x7.5 bolt patteren:5x114.3 offset:45 should be fine

so the hub on the rsx is 64.1 and the rim is 73...so what size hub ring do i need? so that means the hub is smaller than the bore right?

Bingo --

The ring size would be 64.1 x 73 -- Discount Tire Direct sells them for about 20 bucks, and theirs should be a light purple/magenta color. I've got them under my Circuit 10's.

205/45/17 tires would throw your speedometer off by 2.5%

when your speedo reads 60mph, you are actually traveling 58.5mph.

the proper size for 2002-2004 RSX's for 17" rim is 225/45/17

Two good sites that you need to know:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html (easiest tire size calculator I've seen)
http://1010tires.com/tech.asp?...rbore

krystar is correct, that tire size of yours is a bit on the small side. The good thing is that you won't be accidentally speeding as much as you'd think from a cop's point of view. Using the calculator in the first link, you can find several sizes that would also work on your 17's.
