Default For all you nitrous and plug reading experts please help me>>>

Heres my question i have a 95 prelude with H23 no-vtec. Im spraying about a 50 shot with 0.036 nitrous and .024 fuel. My a/f are perfect like i want them good and rich. I do have it at stock timing.

I also am running the NGK 7 heat range which is 1 degree colder because stock is 6s. Well when i checked the plugs aftr a wot pull i noticed a slight pre-ignition sign on the porcelain.

Some very tiny black specks not too major and i noticed very slight amount of aluminum specs which would indicate pre-ignition. Well my question is that i really dont want to pull any timing i would like to keep the distributor at stock setting.

Could i get NGK 8 heat range and clear this up and gain more power than pulling some timing? Im wanting to run a 75 shot here soon just after i get my jets. What would be the corresponding fuel jet to use if im using an 0.040 jet for nitrous?

Cuz i would liek to keep the a/fs just like they are now . I was thinking of using a .028 ..

retard timing yo.... otherwise by using a colder plug than you have... its not going to help you with any of your problems... do it right or let your engine go boom....

You need to take a couple degrees of timing out and a lot of fuel. .036/.024 is Wayyy too rich. You will cause a lot more harm than good running that rich.
