Drag radials for accord
I'm going to throw in my own two cents here since nobody else seems to have any spare change.
To begin, I have limited knowledge on the subject of drag radials or drag slicks, but logic tells me that the 'radial' in drag radial means it doubles as a street tire. This being the case, and assuming you're using stock 15" wheels, I might go one step wider than the stock tire, but only after double checking that it will fit on my Accord without rubbing. I would also match the overall height of the tire to the stock height, so you might or might not have to drop down one series on your sidewall height.
Now given that you didn't provide us with any information as to the Accord you plan on taking to the track, I cannot provide any numbers for comparison. Though I will say that a 225 wide tire on a 15" stock wheel seems a bit too wide.

Follow the above link, insert your stock tire's specs on both sides, then adjust one side's width (the first number in the series), and reduce the sidewall as necessary (second number in the series) to match the overall diameter.
Drag slicks would be a different story. If your vehicle actually needed them, then you would most likely go larger diameter and wider as well, (this dedicated tire is for track use only and is not concerned with turning and clearance) but with a WIDER lighter-weight wheel, designed for a drag tire.

It's a 97 accord, the 225 50 15 is the right height 24'' you dont have many choices with that height all seem to be 9'' wide. i think i'll need a rim with less back spacing poke them out the fender. they will be for the track only. i guess drag radials are something new to imports.
I got a good deal on bfgoodrich tires. i didn't see any 24'' slicks so i went with them. they should have enought traction. h22a lsd 5 speed, 75 wet shot, just trying to find out if the stock rims will work with that size tire.
