Default What type of alternator is this?

I'm guessing this is a OBD1 alternator but i'm not sure. It came off a GSR motor.

Whats the numbers on the first pic? Your flash killed it. Does look like a B series though.

well i pulled it off the GSR myself so it's a B-series

Do all series of alternators have the same shaped plug or do the differnent series have differnet shaped plugs?

OBD1 for sure, my assumption was that D and B series alternators look identical, but have differant ratings, am i wrong???

obd-1 for sure
no they are not interchangeable from b to d series..but there is a way to make them work if u'r desperate

how can we test the alternator still in working condition?...i would like to purchase another one, coz during high rpm, my current is not enough...
