Hey my name is Heather. I'm getting ready to buy an eg vx hatch. I am trying to do one or two of two things.

Number one: beat a 06 Mustang GT or an eg GSR coupe.

Number two: find a way to make her look as clean and as unassuming as possible.

Any suggestions or ideas?

 

Definately get the car first, post a budget. Start planning for a swap because theres no way to beat both without it and some modification. Also as a helpful hint. Top right of the page it says Search so click on that and look under Swap/Turbo for any links and read under Archived post. Welcome and good luck as a new member and fellow Marylander.

 

Lemme get them digits and I'll help ya out. Nah just kidding. Consider a b16 swap. Search the forums about them and you will find out lots more. With a b16 you should accomplish your two goals...

Victory over the GSR EG is the best to look at but a 13 second Mustang is going to take more work than just a swap.

 

Whoa, the new 06' GT's are 13's ? Went to the track this past week and there were two of them. They couldn't get out of the 14's by like 3 or 4 tenths. Obviously they are no perfect driver but I can eat them on the street with my b16 w/ bolt ons..

Hey thanks for the tips. The mustang and gsr belong to my old roommates who are ******** and swore up and down I'd never get another hatch, but I have one now, and I want to mess w/ their heads a bit
